Food and Snow
I did forget to mention somethings for gear:
Pots/Pans for Camping: ?
Pot (no not that kind, the metal kind) for Backpacking Boiling: ?
Bear Bag: ? (We can A. hang our packs or B. Collectively throw everything into one big bag.)
I think I may be able to get a pot or pan or both from my mom. Tim do you still have your perculator turned boling water pot?
As far as food goes, we can just grocery shop out there.
As far as individual gear bring what you want, but remember to bring rain gear and cold weather gear. We should face spring like conditions at the Grand Canyon for sure, but everywhere else we may show up in Winter or Spring. Jordan checked the weather and said the Tetons are supposed to get snow this week and we will be there in 3 weeks so I doubt much will change.
Oh yeah and a personal dry bag wouldnt be too bad of an idea either.
Also concerning backpacking food, we will make a stop at the Salt Lake City REI to purchase some freeze dried goodness (Save 10% when you buy 10). And to see what the recommend concerning bear bags and packs.
